Meet Debbie Beck
High-quality, creative, and accurate research requires expertise in history, politics, and communications. With thirty years of experience, Debbie works at the intersection of politics and media.
Debbie founded Beck Research LLC in 2007 to provide high-quality polling that combines her passions for politics, media, and communications. She provides research and strategic advice to Democratic political campaigns, issue-based organizations, and corporations. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies and national advocacy campaigns to federal, state, and local campaigns.

Debbie specializes in helping campaigns and organizations advance their goals and provides a high level of individual service to each client. Each year, she takes on a small number of races and organizations to offer highly “custom-tailored” research designed for each particular race or situation. She has extensive experience helping advocacy organizations, trade associations, and corporations develop strong communications and messaging campaigns.
Much of Debbie's work focuses on housing affordability, the environment, climate change, and education. She provides ongoing research and strategy to the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) on affordable housing solutions. Recent environmental projects include exploring the role of the Mississippi River, ways to encourage agroforestry, and developing messaging regarding Nature-Based Solutions to climate change and extreme weather.

Through her work with corporations, she has developed strategic positioning for companies and organizations to guide their brand vision, advertising campaigns, and the creation of new products.

Debbie started her polling career at a firm where she participated in every stage of research including conceiving research, planning field work and programming, drafting surveys, analyzing data, and creating communications strategy. She then worked for a large firm, assisting national political clients and corporations with their research. Together, these experiences prepared her to lead a broad range of research situations.

Debbie started her career as a White House intern and media consultant at Squier Knapp Dunn. Her love of research began as a history major at Vassar College, and she received a graduate degree from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
